Dropping a bomb on you with the dopest electro, funk, old school rap, hip hop and party rocking shit once a month on a Friday night!
We got residents OSC-001 and RETALI8 bringing the heat, plus guests from Sydney, Australia and the world ripping up the cuts.
Our grand opening is December 4 at 202 Broadway, aka Boogie Down Broadway, and baby you KNOW that shit is gonna be banging.
Headlining our flagship lineup we got Patrick HAF – Originally from Sydney, and now tearing up clubs in San Francisco, producer/dj Patrick HAF (aka The Sentinel/Wilhelm von Erwache/Mr. Microprocessor/Richard N Hoes) has long been a favourite with fans of cutting edge, truly underground dance music.
In the early 90’s he became a fixture in the burgeoning rave scene, playing at numerous parties throughout Australia over the last 12 years alongside such DJ’s as Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Derrick May, Claude Young (Sydney & Melbourne), DJ Rolando (Sydney & Melbourne), Mike Grant and many others.
Patrick had also been a permanent fixture on Sydney’s radio waves over the last decade, presenting programs such as ‘Radio Belgium’ & ‘Destination Detroit’ on 2RSR and more recently ‘Dark Energy’ on 2SER FM.
In 1998, Patrick co-founded Australia’s first electro record label, Southern Outpost, which has worldwide distribution via Clone Records, Netherlands and has received critical acclaim from dj’s such as Dave Clarke, Rolando and UR’s ‘Mad’ Mike Banks. He has released his own productions and also music from prominent artists such as DJ K1 (Keith Tucker – AUX 88), Shadow People (DJ Nasty), dynArec, Scape One and Dcast Dynamics. More recently, he founded the Datadisk label and has just released a 12″ from two of Italy’s most underground electro producers, Composite Profuse & Kobol Electronics (MinimalRome, Bunker)
It’s impossible to pigeonhole the music Patrick plays. Well renowned for pushing the electro funk sound in Australia, he is also well known for his Detroit techno and deep house sets, often combining them all into one set.
With very close ties to the music, the people and the city of Detroit, he will never succumb to the commercial malaise that is rife in the music industry today.
